The Oklahoma City Gun Club (OKCGC) is a private, member-based facility with national reach, offering high-power rifle opportunities to 1,000 yards for those who complete a structured orientation and certification process. Set across varied Oklahoma terrain
The range features manual target carriers at 600 yards and ShotMarker electronic targets for 600- and 1,000-yard distances.
To shoot long-range, members must attend:
- A 600-yard orientation (range procedures, ShotMarker use)
- A 1,000-yard orientation (steel targets, lock access, ShotMarker setup)
- A certification shoot to demonstrate elevation knowledge and wind-reading basics
The facility hosts an active calendar of public-access competitions across High-Power Rifle, Action Pistol, Silhouette, Cowboy Action (SASS Nationals), and Lever Action disciplines. USPSA, Steel Challenge, CMP Games, and various national championships attract shooters from across the country. Women's and junior programs are well supported, including the long-running Women on Target clinic.
