The Level 1 Extreme Shooting School from MOA Rifles is a two-day precision training event designed for both new long-range shooters and experienced marksmen looking to refine their fundamentals. Hosted in the wide-open terrain near Maupin, Oregon, this course combines expert instruction with hands-on experience using MOA’s custom long-range hunting rifles and match-grade ammunition, or your gear, if preferred.
- Day one begins with four hours of classroom training covering shooting theory, ballistics, and fundamentals, followed by range time focused on proper technique and sight-in procedures.
- Day two advances to live-fire drills starting at 400 yards and stretching out to 1 mile, with detailed coaching and Q&A sessions throughout.
- Instruction emphasizes real-world application, ensuring students walk away with a clear understanding of how to shoot accurately at extended distances.
Training takes place on 40,000 private acres, offering natural terrain and wind conditions that are ideal for building confidence at the range.
Students are hosted at the Imperial River Company in Maupin, with 2 nights of lodging, breakfast, and lunch included.
