Wind Course

This course is dedicated entirely to understanding how wind affects a projectile in flight. It offers practical and hands-on learning at a range capable of shooting over a mile in 360 degrees.

  • Aerodynamic Jump (AJ)
  • Spin Drift
  • Cosine Angles and Their Impact on Wind Calls
  • Head and Tail Wind Considerations
• Classroom Session:
  • A short briefing on terrain impact, aerodynamic jump, cosine angles, and managing multiple wind angles.
• Practical Shooting:
  • Confirm rifle zero with a few initial shots.
  • Experience firsthand how wind affects trajectory, reinforcing knowledge through practical application.

What’s Not Included:

• No ballistic solver training.
• There is no instruction on shooting positions or transitional distances.
