The 2025 Federal Gold Medal Match returns to Alabama Precision in Carbon Hill, AL. Known for its high tempo and challenging stages, this match attracts competitive shooters who aim to push limits in natural terrain and unpredictable winds.
Hosted on a proven field course designed to test every facet of precision shooting, competitors will engage steel targets at distances ranging from 100 to 1,200 yards. This is a no-pistol, rifle-only match focused on clean fundamentals under pressure.
Match Highlights:
- Two-day PRS points match with natural terrain stage design
- 150–200 rifle rounds recommended (no pistol stages)
- Max rifle caliber: .30 cal | Max velocity: 3,200 fps
- Known and unknown distance stages, varied directions of fire
- Friday Tune-Up Day: Shoot movers, barricades, and props out to 1,200 yards (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- The course of Fire (COF) is withheld until shooters depart Friday to prevent gaming
