The PAST is a physically demanding two-man sniper competition at Camp Atterbury that combines rifle and pistol stages, extended movement, and realistic gear-carry requirements across 100–1400-meter engagements under time pressure.

Shadow Legacy’s Precision Assault Sniper Tournament (PAST) returns for its second annual team sniper competition on February 19–21, 2027, at Camp Atterbury. Built around realism, mobility, and stress-based shooting, the event challenges two-person teams across 16 stages, combining long-range rifle work, pistol engagements, and movement over varied terrain.
Unlike square-range style competitions, PAST emphasizes full kit management, physical endurance, communication, and decision-making under pressure. Teams are expected to carry all mission-essential equipment throughout the match while engaging targets from close pistol distances out to 1,400 meters. The event also supports the Navy SEAL Foundation, with proceeds directed toward veteran and family support programs.

Shooter Insight:
This match leans heavily toward endurance, gear management, and communication under fatigue, meaning lightweight kit setups and efficient stage planning may matter as much as raw shooting ability.
