2025 THS Steel Challenge

The 2025 THS Steel Challenge, hosted by TS Customs, runs July 19–20 at Willow Creek Wildlife near Fort Pierre, South Dakota. This 2-Day PRS Pro Series match marks the return of national-level competition to the Dakotas, delivering practical, hunting-inspired stages with field realism and steel out to 1,200 yards.

Open to all shooters, civilian, military, and law enforcement, this match prioritizes clever stage design over gimmicks. Expect solid props, target movement, and time pressure that rewards discipline and wind reading.

Key Features:

• Location: Willow Creek Wildlife, Fort Pierre, SD – 20628 Willow Creek Rd (Central Time)
• Stages: 18–20 total with reactive steel and automated animal targets
• Engagements: 300–1,200 yards; majority in the 400–800 yard zone; sub-2 MOA

Match Schedule:

• Check-in: July 18 (11:00 AM–5:00 PM) + zero board
• Match Start: July 19 at 8:00 AM (briefing at 7:30 AM)
• Awards Banquet: July 20 post-match at Community & Youth Involved Center

• Round Count: ~200 + extras for sight-in/reshoots
• Caliber Limit: .300 Win Mag and below (PRS legal)
• Amenities: Water on stages, lunch Saturday, and banquet dinner Sunday
