The 2026 TTPOA Pirkle Sniper Challenge runs February 10–11, 2026, at the Conroe FBI Training Facility in Conroe, Texas. Hosted by the Texas Tactical Police Officers Association (TTPOA), this annual event honors Sergeant Kelley Pirkle and focuses on practical sniper skill development rather than pure competition.
The match is open exclusively to certified law enforcement officers, federal LE officers, reserves, and active-duty military personnel. Teams consist of two shooters—both acting as snipers with precision rifles, with no dedicated spotter role. Courses of fire emphasize realistic law-enforcement sniper scenarios, physical movement, communication, and precision shooting under stress. The format is designed to challenge both newer teams and experienced operational snipers.
Match Details:
- Two-person sniper teams; both shooters engage targets
- Real-world scenarios with multi-position shooting
- Physically demanding stages over varied distances
- Precision rifle–focused; no vendor show on site.
- Restriction: SIG P320 pistols are banned from competition use
Shooter Insight:
This match favors teams with strong internal communication and shared ballistic responsibility, since a dedicated spotter role protects neither shooter.
