Heavy Gun Match 1 of the Rogue ELR Championship Series runs March 15, 2026, near Madras, Oregon, and follows official ELR Alliance rules and scoring. This is the first of four matches, with cumulative points determining the overall series champion in May.
Built for serious ELR shooters, the course pushes engagements from 1,700 to 3,600 yards under structured time limits.

  • Heavy Gun division: 40-lb max rifle weight, no caliber larger than .50 BMG
  • Time-plus-points scoring format
  • Stage 1: Cold bore + 3 targets, 16-round cap
  • Stage 2: 3 targets, 15-round cap
  • 5-minute setup, 7-minute live fire per stage
  • Divisions: Competitive, Novice, and Youth

Entry is $180 (Youth free). Primitive on-site RV camping is available. Refund cutoff is 10 days before match day.

Shooter Insight:

At 3,000+ yards, spotting trace and managing setup efficiency under a short clock often matters more than raw rifle capability.
