2026 Sniper Symposium

The 2026 SWAT Sniper Skills Symposium runs March 16–20, 2026, hosted by Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office at the LPSO/LPD Range in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. This closed training event is designed exclusively for active law enforcement and military snipers.

The symposium emphasizes best practices for the modern LE precision marksman, blending classroom instruction with practical shooting and decision-making exercises. Attendees train alongside peers from across the country while learning from experienced retired and active-duty LE snipers affiliated with the American Sniper Association.

• LE-focused precision rifle training and sniper doctrine
• Decision-making and problem-solving shooting exercises
• Duty-caliber platforms (.308, 5.56, 6.5, 6 ARC)
• Approx. 160 rounds of duty ammo required
