overview

The PAST (Precision Assault Sniper Tournament), presented by Shadow Legacy Group, runs February 13–15, 2026, at Camp Atterbury in Indiana. This is a physically demanding, decision-driven team sniper match built around realistic field conditions rather than static square-range shooting.

The event is designed for experienced civilian, military, and law enforcement sniper teams comfortable moving under load, solving problems, and managing time, fatigue, and equipment. The match window spans three days, with two full days of competition totaling 16 stages across varied terrain.

What to expect:

  • Two-person teams; rifle and pistol employed throughout
  • Rifle targets from 100–1,600 meters (most 200–800 m) and pistol to 100 yards.
  • Approx. 2–3 miles of movement per day, carrying all mission equipment
  • SOCOM-type rifle calibers only; optional secondary gas gun (5.56 / 6 ARC)
  • Minimum 200 rifle and 200 pistol rounds per shooter
  • Points-based scoring with par times and an issued matchbook

Shooter Insight:

This match rewards teams that balance gear weight, movement efficiency, and decision-making, not just raw shooting speed.
