The Blue Mountain Big Game Hunter runs April 17–19, 2026, outside La Grande, delivering a true backcountry NRL Hunter experience. This event is designed for hunters who want realism: terrain-driven stages, natural shooting positions, and constant movement across Eastern Oregon’s open landscape.
Friday focuses on RO activities, zero, velocity, vendors, and optional side stages. Saturday and Sunday are the main hunt days; 20 total stages (12 on Day 1, 8 on Day 2), with significant walking between positions. Expect spring conditions ranging from cold mornings to rain or snow, making layering and solid footwear mandatory.
