The Built to Hunt Summit, held June 5–8, 2025, at Day Mountain Ranch (Preston, ID), is a fully immersive training experience designed for serious Western hunters, precision shooters, and backcountry enthusiasts. Hosted by Outdoor Solutions and Huntin' Fool, this 4-day event blends fieldcraft, firearms training, and mountain readiness into one hands-on, skills-intensive package.
You'll train alongside top instructors and brand partners in areas including:
- Long-Range Rifle Fundamentals – Gear provided or bring your own. Zeroing, scope setup, rifle selection, and live-fire instruction tailored for real-world hunting applications.
- E-Scouting & Land Navigation: Master OnX tools and go analog with map and compass skills; electronics are not allowed.
- Backcountry Medical Training – What to carry, how to treat trauma, and keep yourself (or a partner) alive when help's not coming.
- Packout & Gear Systems: Dial in load–outs for multi-day hunts; learn pack fitting, terrain-based packing strategy, and kit essentials.
- Wild Game Field Processing – Field dressing, skinning, butchering, and open-fire wild game cooking from pros who live it.
All meals are included. Camp on-site (BYO tent or vehicle setup), or reserve limited cabin upgrades. Expect raffles, seminars, shooting competitions, and direct access to industry leaders.
