The East Texas Brawl runs May 15–17, 2026, at White Oak Creek Shooting Range near Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Hosted on a 3,000+ acre working cattle ranch, this NRL Hunter event blends piney woods terrain, creek lines, and open pasture shooting.
Designed for NRL Hunter competitors who prefer realistic field conditions, the match focuses on improvised shooting positions, natural terrain support, and efficient target acquisition rather than square-range shooting. Stages are spread across the ranch but remain logistically manageable, with optional ATV shuttles available.
Match Details:
- 18 NRL Hunter stages using natural terrain and improvised rests
- Animal-shaped targets, generally 2 MOA or larger
- Creek bottoms, wooded areas, levee backstops, and open pasture shots
- Three clusters of six stages over two days (Sat/Sun)
- Moderate walking; furthest stage cluster under ½ mile
Shooter Insight:
This is a terrain-reading and position-building match, not a speed game, rewarding hunters who can stabilize quickly off uneven natural features.
