The 2nd Annual Kinetic Comps Sniper Team Challenge runs September 25–27, 2026, at Day Mountain Ranch Resort in Preston, Idaho. Designed for serious two-person teams, it blends fieldcraft, mobility, and precision rifle performance in a demanding mountain environment.

This is not a square-range PRS clone. Teams navigate terrain, manage gear decisions, and solve evolving stage problems under time pressure. Loadout strategy matters, light and mobile or heavy and stable, because each segment favors different approaches.

3-day format: Friday brief, full Saturday, shorter Sunday with awards
Timed movement segments (AM) plus timed static stages (PM)
Rifle engagements 50–1,400 yards; pistol 5–100 yards
SOCOM cartridges only; 3,150 fps max; no AP/tracer
Min 200 rifle / 100 pistol rounds per shooter
Mountain terrain, angle fire, moving targets, limited stage clarity
