Summary

The 2025 NRL Hunter Grand Slam runs August 8–10 at Gunsite Academy in Paulden, Arizona, bringing together the highest-ranked shooters from the NRL Hunter season. This invite-only championship tests real-world fieldcraft across natural terrain, with targets out to 1000 yards.

Open to the top finishers in Factory, Open Light, Open Heavy, Women, Youth, and select NRL Hunter Games qualifiers, the Grand Slam is the proving ground for the season’s best. Expect gear-tested match design, unforgiving terrain, and high accountability.

Championship Format

  • 16 stages across 2 days
  • Target distances from 100 to 1000 yards
  • 2-MOA steel, blind stages, real hunting scenarios

Divisions & Gear

  • Factory (≤12 lb production)
  • Open Light (≤12 lb custom)
  • Open Heavy (12–16 lb rifles)
  • All competitors follow “2‑1‑dead” scoring

Logistics & Rules

  • On-site RV and tent camping (book ahead)
  • No public entry, invites based on season points
  • Strict sportsmanship rules; cheating = DQ
