The TTG Sniper Challenge, hosted by The Tactical Games, is in Mountain Home, Texas. Designed for military, law enforcement, and serious civilian shooters, this two-day competition blends sniper-style shooting with high-intensity movement and gear-based endurance.
Competitors run in two-person teams, navigating industrial terrain and engaging targets from close quarters to 800 yards. Stages combine rifle and pistol marksmanship with physical challenges, testing fieldcraft, communication, and grit.
Key Features:
- 2-Man Team Format with designated Primary and Secondary shooters
- Max distance 800 yards; includes moving targets, high-angle shots, and memory tasks
- Divisions: Slick (8lb plate carrier), Lite & Heavy (15lb plate carriers)
- Caliber/Optic rules: .223/.308 only, max 10X scope on one rifle
- There are no gear restrictions on bags, tripods, or bipods, but you must carry all gear stage to stage
- Round count: ~200 rifle, 100 pistol
- Ruck requirement on Day 2 with all gear
- Athlete check-in Friday 4–7pm; range open 6am–6pm during the event
- The volunteer program offers free future entry for qualified helpers
While inspired by tactical sniper competitions, TTG Sniper Challenge is a standalone format, not affiliated with PRS, NRL, or NRL Hunter.
Refunds are limited and only granted upon presentation of proof of military orders.
Otherwise, a 50% event credit applies within 21 days of the match.
