Founded by Marine Corps veteran Mark Gordon in 2009, Short Action Customs (SAC) is a nationally recognized leader in precision rifle building, CNC-machined components, and reloading innovation. Operating from a state-of-the-art facility in Wellington, Ohio, with its 860-yard range and 600-yard electronic target system, SAC delivers products and services built for competitors, hunters, and tactical shooters.
Their gunsmithing capabilities include barrel services, action truing, trigger installations, stock bedding, and complete custom builds on platforms such as the Defiance Deviant and Impact 737R. SAC’s in-house CNC equipment ensures ultra-tight tolerances for products like headspace gauges, chamber reamers, and bullet jump test kits.
SAC specializes in 6mm and 6.5mm wildcats, such as the 6 Dasher, 6 BRA, and 6×47 Lapua, all of which have been tested and proven on-site. The team includes PRS competitors, and the shop proudly supports veterans, LE, and PRS members with exclusive discounts.
