Marcus Carver "Marc"

Marcus “Marc” Carver is a retired U.S. Army combat veteran and career sniper, now serving as an instructor at Twisted Barrel Precision, a cutting-edge 250+ acre training facility near Little Rock, Arkansas. With over two decades of military service, Marc’s resume includes some of the most respected sniper and infantry leadership roles in the Army.

Marc is a graduate of the U.S. Army Sniper Course and has served as a Sniper, Sniper Team Leader, Section Leader, Employment Officer, and ultimately as Sniper School Instructor and NCOIC/Course Manager. His instructional career also spans the Infantryman Advanced Leader Course, Mortarman Advanced Leader Course, Heavy Weapons Leader Course, and other specialized infantry transition programs. He holds the Master Army Instructor Badge, a recognition of teaching excellence at the highest level.

Throughout his service, Marc received numerous awards, including the Bronze Star Medal with the “Valor” device for heroism during combat operations in Iraq.

Beyond the military, Marc’s passion lies in long-range and extreme long-range shooting, as well as big game hunting, with a particular love for elk pursuits in rugged terrain. His instructional style blends field-tested tactics with modern ballistic understanding—making him a trusted mentor for military professionals, competitive PRS/NRL shooters, and civilian enthusiasts alike.
