The Marine Scout Sniper Heritage Foundation is a Marine-focused 501(c)(3) preserving over a century of Scout Sniper history and leading efforts to build a national war memorial honoring fallen Marine snipers.

The Marine Scout Sniper Heritage Foundation exists to document, preserve, and publicly explain the history and sacrifices of U.S. Marine Scout Snipers, a small but influential long-range precision community dating back to World War I. Its primary mission is the creation of a permanent Scout Sniper War Memorial near the National Museum of the Marine Corps, providing a physical place of remembrance for generations killed in action. Beyond the memorial, the foundation conducts historical research, publishes educational material, and works with authors, media, and partner organizations to ensure Scout Sniper contributions are accurately recorded and understood. While not a training or competition body, it plays a central role in preserving long-range sniper heritage.
