A 100-acre Florida training facility offering structured shooting from close range to ~860 yards of long-range, built for members and shooters progressing into precision rifle.

Ares Training Facility in Leesburg, Florida, is a membership-driven outdoor range built on roughly 100 acres, designed to support both general firearms use and structured precision rifle development. The layout provides a clear progression of distance and skill, starting with short-range bays and extending into true long-range capability.
The main rifle and multi-use range runs from 0 to 400 yards, with steel targets and multiple berm lines supporting everything from zeroing and load development to positional shooting. Pocket berms (around 25 yards) are heavily used for drills, defensive shooting, and instructor-led training blocks, giving the facility a practical, training-first feel rather than a static public range.
A separate long-distance range extends to approximately 850–860 yards and is reserved for qualified shooters. This area is geared toward precision rifle work, allowing for wind reading, ballistic validation, and extended-distance engagements beyond typical public-range limits.
Ares is best suited for shooters who want a clear pathway from fundamentals to long-range proficiency, especially those training toward precision rifle or competition-level shooting.
