Fort Hill Rifle and Pistol Club

Fort Hill Rifle & Pistol Club (FHRPC) is a private, competition-focused facility located in Western Maryland. As a proud CMP-affiliated and NRA-sanctioned club, FHRPC emphasizes safe, structured marksmanship rooted in traditional high-power rifle disciplines.

The club's standout feature is the Warrior Range, a purpose-built rifle line extending to 600 yards, with marked firing points at 100, 200, 300, 500, and 600 yards. A covered position at 300 yards provides relief from the elements, with prone shooting positions commonly used during sanctioned matches. Target systems support paper, benchrest, and metallic silhouette formats, with specific match disciplines like Bench Rest 50, Bullseye Pistol, Small Bore Silhouette (.22 LR), and a variety of CMP service rifle courses (including Garand, Springfield, vintage sniper, and 80-shot aggregates).

While public walk-ins are not supported, the club fosters a strong membership community focused on organized shooting. Operating hours are tied to scheduled match days and member usage; prospective shooters must demonstrate safe firearms handling and follow the range officer's directives.
