Hunters Pointe Shooting Club

Located just west of Sioux Falls, Hunters Pointe Shooting Complex is a versatile outdoor facility catering to precision shooters, hunters, and recreational marksmen.

The rifle and pistol range is the only 600-yard public-access range in East River, South Dakota, featuring 19 concrete shooting benches with targets at 100, 200, 300, 400, and 600 yards. A 50-yard gravel infield allows for bore sighting and precision pistol shooting. Shooters can engage reactive steel targets, with calibers up to .338 for rifles and .45 for pistols allowed—larger calibers require prior approval.

The facility also features two automated sporting clay courses with elevated stands, water crossings, and rotating layouts simulating real hunting scenarios. While training programs are not advertised, the range features a pro shop stocked with ammunition, targets, and accessories. It provides a range vehicle for accessing distant targets when conditions permit.
