Lewis-Clark Wildlife Club

Set 15 miles southeast of Lewiston, the Lewis-Clark Wildlife Club Range is a public-access facility with a conservation mission and a strong safety culture. The site offers gravel road access and seasonal weekend hours, and shooting is supervised by NRA-certified Range Safety Officers.

The range includes:

• A covered 6-bench bay for pistols and rifles out to 100 yards.
• A covered 18-bench line with steel and paper out to 550 yards (500 meters).
• A 3-station automatic trap range for shotgunners.
• An indoor classroom used for training sessions (details not publicly listed).
• ADA-accessible design across all facilities.

Rules are strictly enforced: no 50 BMGs, full-auto, tracers, or incendiary rounds. Firearms must be unloaded and checked at entry. Drawing from holster and prone use are not confirmed, check with RSOs before attempting either.

Public day-use costs $20, while membership is $60/year, with unlimited access included. Seasonal hours run Fri–Sun, with shorter winter sessions.
