North East Texas Tactical is a purpose-built long-range shooting facility designed specifically for experienced shooters pursuing precision rifle performance beyond traditional 1,000-yard distances. The range features nearly 100 steel targets spaced every 100 yards, and extending to a 1-mile long range, creating a full progression for refining ballistic data, wind calls, and extreme-distance consistency. Beyond 900 yards, LED hit indicators provide immediate visual feedback, while target camera systems positioned at 1,500 yards and one mile can stream impacts directly to phones or tablets under the right conditions.
One of the standout features is the elevated 20-foot covered shooting tower, designed to reduce ground mirage and improve visibility during extended-range engagements. The facility also includes a dedicated rimfire complex with more than 75 steel targets from 50 to 300 yards, combined with PRS props and monthly rimfire matches that reinforce positional shooting fundamentals at scaled distances. Access to the mile range requires shooters to pass a qualification test demonstrating consistency from 300 to 700 yards, reinforcing the facility’s disciplined, skill-first culture. Large magnum calibers and .50 BMG rifles are prohibited, keeping the emphasis on precision and ballistic refinement rather than raw power.
