Palo Alto Rifle and Pistol Club

Located on 50 acres in Ascension Parish, Palo Alto Rifle and Pistol Club is a private, competition-driven range offering verified 600-yard capability and a detailed firing infrastructure tailored for precision disciplines.

• The 600-yard range includes covered firing points, dedicated distances (200, 300, 500, 600 yards), and manual pit targets, simulating full-service Mid-Range match conditions.
• Strict access rules apply: Only qualified members with proper orientation may use the 600, and optics must be turret-dialed—no red dots or reticle holdovers are allowed.
• Intermediate facilities include 100- and 200-yard rifle benches, a 50-yard pistol/multi-use bay, and seven 25-yard action pistol bays.
• Disciplines hosted include Mid-Range Prone/F-Class, Field Precision Rifle, Bullseye Pistol, USPSA, Steel Challenge, ICORE, and Rimfire Precision.
• Targets must conform to club specs. Bullet containment and line discipline are emphasized in all bays.
