Winnequah Gun Club

Set across 362 wooded acres between Lodi and Harmony Grove, Wisconsin, Winnequah Gun Club is one of the Midwest’s most respected destinations for long-range marksmanship. The club supports full-distance prone rifle matches at distances of 800, 900, 1000, and 1200 yards, drawing serious competitors from across the United States, Canada, Japan, and beyond.

The Wednesday morning long-range league, running from April through September, is a staple of the club, starting at 9:00 AM and typically wrapping by noon. Matches are conducted on electronic Shotmarker targets, eliminating pit duty and allowing for real-time scoring via mobile devices. Firing is prone-only, with dedicated categories for:

• Palma® Rifle (metallic sights)
• F-Class Open (FO) and FTR (308 or 223 only)
• AROS (Any Rifle Optical Sights – sling only, no rests, no brakes)
• The facility requires rifles with a caliber of 6mm or greater for 1200-yard firing. It offers mentorship from veteran shooters for those entering the discipline. A mat, spotting scope, and reliable ammo are recommended for competitors.
