In Billings, MT, Yellowstone Rifle Club offers indoor precision disciplines and an outdoor long-range course with steel to 700 yards, ideal for high-power and centerfire shooters.


The Yellowstone Rifle Club (YRC) in Billings, Montana, is a well-rounded shooting facility with both indoor precision ranges and dedicated long-range steel courses.
Founded in 1950, YRC supports a wide range of shooting disciplines across multiple bays, including airgun, smallbore, silhouette, and high-power rifle formats.
The Long-Range Course (Range 2B) features:
YRC also maintains a dedicated High Power Rifle range with firing points at 200, 300, and 600 yards for NRA F-Class-style matches. Practices run from May through September and are open to non-members for various fees.

YRC is ideal for precision shooters, F-Class competitors, and centerfire marksmen looking for solid 600–700-yard steel access and match-level infrastructure in south-central Montana.
