Two-day advanced ballistics and wind course from Long Range University for shooters with solid fundamentals and prior L1-level knowledge.

This two-day classroom and range course is built for shooters who already understand foundational long-range concepts and need deeper work on wind and advanced ballistic effects. Long Range University positions it as an advanced class, and the schedule combines lectures, coached prone work, wind exercises, and practical shooting blocks.
Instruction focuses on reading and compensating for wind, then layering in the external ballistic factors that change real-world hit probability. Students work through wind speed and direction assessment using a wind meter, mirage, and environmental indicators, then apply corrections on the range. The class also covers air density, shot inclination, spin drift, aerodynamic jump, Coriolis effect, Eotvos effect, and use of a smart laser rangefinder to build a firing solution that accounts for those variables.
Key training areas include:
This course fits experienced shooters, hunters, and field users who already have L1-level fundamentals and want more depth in wind and applied ballistics. Students need a smartphone for the Revic Ballistic App, and the course provides the rifle, optics, rangefinder, ammunition, and other shooting support gear.
