Summary

The 2025 Magnolia Meltdown returns August 16–17 at Gunline Shooting in Carthage, Mississippi, for its fifth annual PRS Pro Series event. This is a high-tempo, two-day match designed to challenge experienced competitors while welcoming newcomers to the sport.

Hosted by Gunline Shooting and sponsored by Foundation Stocks, the event combines a competitive edge with Southern hospitality and features steel targets out to 1,000 yards.

  • Stages: Expect 175–190 rounds fired across dynamic stages featuring movers, positional props, and unknown-distance targets out to 1,000 yards
  • Train-Up Day: Friday, August 15 (10:00 AM–3:30 PM), access to props, mover, and full-length range
  • Gear Rules: ≤.30 caliber, ≤3,200 fps; PRS legal setups encouraged
  • Amenities: Lunch provided both match days; camping and RV welcome (no power hookups)
  • Location: Gunline Shooting, 895 Greenwood Chapel Rd, Carthage, MS — easy access from Jackson Intl Airport, Madison, and Ridgeland
  • Entry Fees: $285 match + $40 train-up; all payments non-refundable
