Founded by Clayton Smith after his service in the U.S. Marine Corps, the shop has evolved from a one-man outfit into a focused five-man team that produces rifles with surgical accuracy.

They don’t do factory rifles—only custom builds, tailored to each shooter’s needs and mission.

In addition to full rifle builds, West Texas Ordnance offers suppressors, match-grade optics, hand-selected components, and ammo—everything serious shooters rely on.

With a proven track record in PRS, hunting, and tactical applications, their work reflects a no-shortcuts mindset forged in military service and refined through years of hands-on experience.
