Caprock Rifle Club

Caprock Rifle Club (CRC Range) is a purpose-built long-range shooting facility located near Brownfield, West Texas, designed specifically for precision rifle shooters and competitive disciplines. Spread across nearly 700 acres of open South Plains terrain, the range offers structured distances from 25 yards to 2,500 yards, allowing shooters to progress from basic zeroing and load development to extended-range engagements.

The core firing area features a 2,900-square-foot covered concrete firing line supporting engagements from 25 to 1,300 yards, allowing shooters to work in shade with stable benches or prone setups. Above it, a 50-foot elevated shooting platform opens the range for long-range and ELR engagements from 500 to 2,500 yards, offering clear lines of fire across the property.

• 75+ permanent AR500 steel targets positioned across multiple distances
• PRS-style barricades and positional props for competition training
• Dedicated sight-in and load development areas with target backers
• Power outlets and lighting for LabRadar, chronographs, and ballistic equipment
• Separate bays supporting rimfire, carbine, and handgun work
