Brian Moran is a former Ranger sniper, sniper team leader, and sniper section leader with a strong background in operational sniper employment, instructor development, and long-range marksmanship training. During 7 years with the 2nd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, he served in the Sniper Section and deployed to Afghanistan 6 times. He later moved to the 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, where he served as Reconnaissance Platoon Sergeant and helped stand up a new sniper section.
Brian went on to spend several years as an Instructor/Writer at the United States Army Sniper Course, where he trained sniper students and contributed to the revision of doctrine and manuals for the long-range precision community.
