Bench Rest Rifle Club of St. Louis

Set on 650 wooded and rolling acres in Wright City, Missouri, the Bench Rest Rifle Club of St. Louis (BRRC) is a private, member-based shooting complex renowned for its deep commitment to precision rifle training and competitive disciplines. Founded in 1955, the club caters to both recreational shooters and professionals, including local law enforcement personnel and youth marksmanship programs.

Rifle shooters will find two precision-focused training ranges:

• A 600-yard long-range course and
• A 1,200-yard mid-range qualification range — both supported by formal training classes open to the public. These structured, multi-day courses cover ballistic data, wind calls, system testing, and fundamentals of the prone position.

Range features include:

• Steel and paper targets at varied distances
• Barricades and props for NRL .22 matches (targets from 25–100 yards)
• Designated shoot houses for USPSA and 3-gun stages
• Benched and prone shooting positions are available for all rifle classes

BRRC hosts open matches in NRL .22, USPSA, IDPA, 3-Gun, and traditional bench rest formats, including the renowned 100/200-yard Super Shoot. While core access is members-only, public participation is welcomed at weekend matches and formal training courses.
