Spanning 420 acres, Heartland Public Shooting Park is one of the most extensive public shooting facilities in the Midwest. Managed by Hornady Manufacturing, the park supports a full spectrum of shooting disciplines, from shotgun and archery to centerfire rifle and action shooting.
Rifle shooters will find target berms set at 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, and 600 yards, making it a practical location for long-range zeroing and precision training. The range layout supports standard benchrest and prone shooting, although prone-specific pads have not been confirmed. Steel and paper targets vary by bay, and rifle calibers above 8mm are prohibited.
