North Springs Shooting Range sits on 640 acres of high-desert terrain just 15 miles southwest of Price, Utah, at an elevation of 5,627 feet — a meaningful factor for those dialing long-range ballistics.
Designed for both recreational and professional shooters, the range features dedicated rifle lanes out to 1,000 yards and an ELR venue reaching one mile (1,760 yards).
- The 1,000-yard range includes steel gongs from 200 to 1,000 yards, IPSC silhouettes, and reactive steel such as “coffin” targets and milk jugs.
- A 600-yard range uses classic silhouette targets (chickens to rams) for positional practice.
- The ELR area includes the Barnes Bunker, providing covered shooting for ultra-distance sessions.
- Additional offerings include a tactical law enforcement range, a 15-bay cowboy action town, 3-D archery, and multiple pistol bays.
The terrain is open, with steady winds and minimal tree cover, offering realistic wind-reading challenges. Covered benches, paper stands, steel, and dynamic props are well-maintained. Dry camping is allowed, and a pro shop is on-site.
