Located in the heart of Old Florida wilderness, Okeechobee Shooting Sports (OKSS) spans nearly 100 acres and caters to recreational and precision shooters with a wide range of target types and shooting disciplines.
The facility’s highlight is its 500-yard range, which is open monthly for pre-registered precision shooters. This long-range bay supports extended-distance engagements, though spots are limited to 16 shooters per session for safety and efficiency. The range is complemented by 24 individual rifle lanes (up to 200 yards) and pistol bays (5–50 yards), all with benches and rests. Steel targets, paper bullseyes, and even zombie-themed props add variety to training or recreational days.
OKSS also offers Trap, Skeet, 5-Stand, and Rimfire galleries, as well as private ranges available for rent. While advanced long-range instruction isn’t offered on-site, RSO training and monthly shooting events provide structure and community engagement. Members benefit from monthly pricing tiers starting at $17.95, while public daily fees range from $20 to $100, depending on the range used.
