Quantico Shooting Club

The Quantico Shooting Club (QSC) is a private, member-only organization operating within the secure perimeter of Marine Corps Base Quantico (MCBQ) in Virginia. With a history spanning over 75 years, the club provides advanced long-range facilities ideally suited for precision rifle shooters, PRS-style competitors, and disciplined marksmen.

Range 4, the club’s flagship known-distance (KD) range, features:

• 50 marked firing positions with individual target carriages.
• Paper targets from 100 to 1000 yards, with clay and steel engagements out to 1035 yards.
• Structured events include multi-yard precision matches, Know Your Limits (KYL) steel challenges, and hunting-style precision shots.

Range 2 & 3 support high-power and vintage service rifle events to 600 yards, often used by teams prepping for Camp Perry.

Strictly enforced safety and range rules include:

• Mandatory Empty Chamber Indicators (ECIs).
• AR500 steel target compliance with minimum engagement distances (e.g., 410 yards for .300 Win Mag and .338 Lapua).
• No full-auto, binary triggers, or reactive/explosive targets.

Events are scheduled via the club calendar, with shooting days often starting at 0800 and concluding around 1300. While .338 Lapua and .50 BMG are permitted, airspace restrictions may apply.
