Roanoke Rifle and Revolver Club

Roanoke Rifle and Revolver Club (RRRC) is a well-established shooting facility in Hardy, VA, featuring a 500-yard range with 20 covered benches built for year-round use, rain or shine. With dedicated firing tables and consistent match scheduling, RRRC caters to both centerfire and rimfire enthusiasts.

The club hosts monthly NRA-sanctioned High Power Rifle matches on the third Saturday, using a 200-yard reduced National Match course. Shooters compete in offhand, sitting, and prone stages, featuring both slow and rapid-fire components. These matches are open to experienced competitors looking to sharpen their marksmanship under NRA classification rules.

For rimfire enthusiasts, RRRC hosts Long Range .22LR steel matches with targets positioned from 150 to 400 yards, featuring 5" eggs, 2–8" steel squares, and knockdowns. Shooters use bipods and rear bags (without machine rests), and matches consist of 5–6 stages with up to 100 rounds per rifle. Factory and Open classes are supported, with flexible participation for dual-gun entries.

The club also hosts IDPA pistol matches, Appleseed training events, and benchrest competitions throughout the year. Public access is allowed for matches via PractiScore registration, though general range access likely requires membership.
