This five-day precision rifle course is built for shooters serious about refining long-range marksmanship across Levels I, II, and III. Instruction starts with precision rifle fundamentals, equipment selection and maintenance, and the history and development of the scoped rifle, then moves into ballistic theory, optic manipulation in MIL or MOA, and practical target engagement.
Students work through known-distance and unknown-distance problems, wind reading, range estimation, and use of tools such as a laser range finder, ballistic calculator, and chronograph. Firing is done from unsupported, tripod-supported, and alternate positions including barricades, with optional night shooting and a final open range period on day five.
