Four-day introductory ELR course from Barrett covering rifle setup, ballistics, and target engagement for shooters entering extreme distance work.

This four-day, in-person course is built for shooters who want an introduction to extreme long-range marksmanship. Barrett structures the class around safety, core marksmanship, ballistics, and the practical setup and maintenance needed to run an ELR rifle system.
Instruction mixes classroom concepts with hands-on range work. Shooters learn how to collect and manage usable data, set up and use a Kestrel, and apply ballistic information on target with the Barrett MRADELR platform. Rental rifles are available, and the course includes live-fire target engagement at distances out to 2000 yards.
Key training areas include:
This course fits shooters who are new to ELR and want a structured introduction to the discipline. Students need the physical ability to move their shooting equipment about 50 yards, and should bring the required rifle support gear and personal protective equipment unless using a rental package.
