The Fundamentals of Long-Range Shooting course is a 2-day foundational program designed for novice to intermediate shooters looking to step confidently into the world of precision rifle shooting, whether you’re a brand-new marksman or looking to tighten up your fundamentals.
You’ll begin with the core principles of marksmanship—covering rifle setup, reticle usage, bore sighting, zeroing, and the difference between MILs and MOA. From there, instruction expands to cover ballistic data, wind calls, atmospheric conditions, and the basics of spotting and making shot corrections. Each student will build a DOPE chart and receive guidance on setting up a ballistic calculator for real-time engagements.
