What you'll learn:

  • Rifle setup and selecting a proper zero (hunter's zero vs. 100-yard zero)
  • Marksmanship fundamentals tailored to hunting
  • Wind reading and environmental awareness
  • Ballistic calculator setup and real-time data application
  • Building stable shooting positions using your actual field gear
  • Engaging unknown distance targets and making fast follow-up shots
  • Ethical considerations for long-range hunting engagements

How it's delivered:
Hands-on instruction with practical field drills, using animal silhouette targets to simulate real-world shots. Expect scenario-based shooting exercises that test both your precision and decision-making under field-like conditions.

Where and what you'll shoot:
Steel animal silhouettes from varied terrain and positions, out to 800+ yards. Challenges include unknown distance targets and multi-round engagements mimicking real-world hunting conditions.

Gear & prep:

  • Rifle capable of 1.5 MOA or better
  • 120 rounds of match-grade ammo (same brand and grain)
  • Bipod, rear bag, and your actual hunting gear (pack, sticks, spotting equipment, etc.)
