Precision Rifle II is a three-day advanced training series designed for shooters seeking to enhance their long-range performance through expert-level techniques for tripod and supported-position shooting. Building directly on the Precision Rifle I foundation, this course provides a comprehensive exploration of non-traditional shooting platforms across both man-made and natural terrain.
Day by day, shooters will expand on core fundamentals while gaining confidence in engaging real-world targets from unstable and improvised positions. Each day is modular—take all three consecutively or attend individually as PR2.1, PR2.2, or PR2.3. Completion of PR2.1 is required before attending the following days to ensure progression and safety.
Course Features:
- Reinforced marksmanship principles with emphasis on support structure mechanics
- Tripod deployment theory and practical usage across the terrain
- Ballistic refinement for alternate positions and angled shots
- Environmental data application for supported fire solutions
- Realistic movement drills engaging steel targets out to 800+ yards
- Instruction on engaging movers from natural and improvised rests
Training blends whiteboard lectures, gear walk-throughs, and structured live-fire at Max Ordinate HQ in Southern California, culminating in a unique Field Course on Day 3. Shooters will traverse terrain and engage from ten real-world shooting positions, testing their stability, problem-solving skills, and precision under pressure.

- Precision rifle (1.5 MOA or better)
- Tripod system with mounting solution
- Ballistic calculator (Kestrel or AB app)
- Min. 300 rounds of match-grade ammo
- Sling, rear support bag, and eye/ear protection
