Three-day advanced long-range rifle course for experienced shooters, focused on ballistic application and Barrett rifle operation.

This is a three-day, live-fire precision rifle course built for shooters who have already completed Precision Rifle and Long Range Precision. It focuses on applying environmental data, reticle-based ranging, and rapid hold or correction methods to engage targets from 100 to 1200 yards, with instruction centered on the MRAD, MRAD SMR, and 98B Barrett rifles.
Students work through safety, marksmanship fundamentals, ballistics, rifle setup, maintenance, and data acquisition in a mix of classroom content and practical range application. The course also covers Kestrel setup and use, then applies that information to target engagement problems that require accurate corrections, ranging, and efficient transitions across multiple targets.
Key training areas include:
This course fits experienced shooters, competitors, hunters, and MIL or LE personnel who already have a solid precision-rifle foundation. Students need the prerequisite courses, a rifle with a quality ballistic-reticle optic and related support gear, about 400 rounds of same-lot ammunition unless using a rental rifle, and the ability to carry equipment 100 yards over uneven ground.

Barrett Firearms runs this Murfreesboro, Tennessee-based training program, offering long-range rifle, multi-target, mountain precision, and armorer instruction at select U.S. locations.
