ATX Precision

ATX Precision is where field-tested skill and backcountry grit meet high-level instruction. Founded by Clayton Hergert, a 13-year U.S. military veteran and lifelong outdoorsman, the school was born from a love of long-range shooting and a calling to teach others the art and science of marksmanship.

Operating from a rugged private facility in the Texas Hill Country, an hour from Austin, ATX Precision provides a natural terrain classroom designed to challenge experienced shooters and welcome newcomers alike. The course is tailored to real-world conditions - wind calls, elevation changes, and terrain-based positions are integral to the experience.
