Telos Defense is a veteran-owned Central Florida training group delivering tactical rifle, pistol, and performance-under-stress firearms instruction blended with functional fitness principles.

Telos Defense is a veteran-owned firearms and fitness training organization based in Central Florida that focuses on practical shooting performance under stress rather than traditional static range instruction. Built around a combination of small-arms marksmanship, functional fitness, and dynamic shooting applications, the company blends tactical firearms instruction with physical exertion to prepare shooters for real-world pressure and performance.
Unlike traditional long-range schools centered around prone precision rifle work or extended-distance ballistics, Telos Defense leans heavily into tactical rifle, pistol, and 2-gun training, using movement, time pressure, positional shooting, and physical fatigue as part of the learning process. Their methodology is influenced by The Tactical Games, incorporating fitness benchmarks and stress-based shooting standards into many training evolutions.
Training is designed for shooters looking to improve:
Courses range from half-day fundamentals classes through full-day and multi-day programs, with instruction conducted at host facilities including Volusia County Gun & Hunt Club and Deep Woods Ranch in Florida.
For precision rifle shooters, Telos Defense serves as a strong complement to traditional long-range training by reinforcing weapon handling, movement efficiency, and decision-making under physical stress - skills often overlooked in static precision environments.
Train harder, move faster, and pressure-test your shooting performance with Telos Defense’s dynamic firearms training approach.
