Mark Dietz is a retired Albuquerque police officer and Navy veteran who teaches precision rifle and sniper courses in New Mexico.

Mark Dietz is the owner and instructor at Match Grade Sniper School, which he has operated since 2008. His background includes service as a US Navy corpsman and 16 years with the Albuquerque Police Department, where he retired as a police officer. After law enforcement, he also worked in private security and protective services roles.
Dietz holds New Mexico DPS instructor certifications for handgun, shotgun, rifle, and sniper, and he is also an NRA Law Enforcement Precision Rifle Instructor. His training background includes both Blackwater Basic Sniper School and Blackwater Advanced Sniper School. That mix of patrol, public safety, and formal sniper instructor credentials is relevant for shooters looking for a law enforcement-based precision rifle perspective.
His courses are run in Rio Rancho, San Ysidro, and other BLM locations. Publicly available information points to a focus on marksmanship, weapons handling, and tactics, with precision rifle and sniper instruction at the center of his program.
