Match Grade Sniper School is a New Mexico-based precision rifle and sniper training academy led by retired Albuquerque Police Officer **Mark Dietz**. Operating primarily at Del Norte Shooting Gun Club in Rio Rancho, with additional training on private land and BLM land, the school provides structured precision rifle instruction for law enforcement, military personnel, contractors, and qualified civilians. Its training is also recognized by **New Mexico POST as** law enforcement professional development.
The curriculum centers around two comprehensive four-day sniper courses totaling approximately 50 hours of instruction. Students develop practical long-range shooting skills through classroom instruction and field exercises covering ballistics, wind reading, range estimation, positional shooting, unknown-distance engagements, moving targets, angle shooting, ballistic truing, and extended long-range data collection. Advanced courses are open to graduates of any accredited basic sniper school, while instruction is supported by former Special Operations personnel alongside lead instructor Mark Dietz.
