Norm is a retired Delta Force sniper and HALO instructor with 30 years in the Army. He now teaches sniper and long-range marksmanship at TRC and is a multi-time Wimbledon Cup champion and NRA High Master.


Norm is a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Army, including 22 years with 1st SFOD-D (Delta Force). He held significant leadership positions, including serving as an assault team leader, sniper/recon team leader, operations sergeant major, and air operations coordinator.
As a longtime instructor at The Range Complex (TRC), a 3,000-acre facility near Fayetteville, NC, Norm specializes in training military units, law enforcement teams, and vetted civilians in sniper operations, advanced rifle skills, and high-angle/airborne integration.
Norm is an NRA High Master in High Power Rifle and a dominant force in long-range competition. He won the Wimbledon Cup in 2003, 2016, and 2017, and took the 1,200-yard title at the 2017 Midwest Palma Championship.
