PRECISION RIFLE

The Range Complex (TRC) in Fayetteville, NC, offers a one-day Precision Rifle Course designed to establish essential long-range fundamentals for novice precision shooters. Whether you're running a bolt-action rifle or a semi-automatic rifle, this course provides the structure and live-fire time needed to improve accuracy and confidence behind the glass.

Training begins with two hours of classroom instruction covering firearms safety, rifle setup, zeroing procedures, basic ballistics, and marksmanship principles. The remainder of the day is spent on the range, applying these concepts through hands-on drills. Shooters will zero their rifles, run accuracy-focused exercises, and transition into alternate firing positions using both supported and unsupported techniques. The course concludes with known-distance engagements out to 600 yards, culminating in a timed challenge that tests the real-world application of skills under pressure.

You'll shoot on flat outdoor ranges using steel and paper targets, with a focus on dialing and refining data for intermediate distances.
